Monarch needs a home!!!

Poor Monarch has not had an easy life....

She was picked up as a stray by animal control in June of 2010 and spent 6 months living in a cage at Georgina Animal Control.

She was rescued in the nick of time on December 21 as she was on the urgent list and euthanasia was on the horizon for her. Monarch was spayed and settled into her foster home (my place!) and I began the quest to find her a home.

She didn't get along particularly well with other cats so finding her a home where she could be the only cat was difficult. She eventually found a home with a single person the end of March. She blossomed in her own domain and her new owner just loved her. Unfortunately in June I received a phone call letting me know that her new owner was in hospital and Monarch had no where to go...So Monarch is back with me again and I have recently received word that Monarch's owner is not well enough to take her back...so she is once again looking for a forever home.

She is just a lovely affectionate girl and even gets along with a few of my cats when they pay her visits in her room so she may be able to be homed in an environment with another laid back cat (or two!)

I'm really hoping she will be able to find a stable environment soon as she has been homeless for so long....In the meantime she lives in my office room and lies beside me as I use the computer, purring constantly from when I enter the room until I have to leave...she just craves company!

So, if anyone knows of a potential home for my little Monarch girl, please let me know!
